Friendliest Dog Breeds!

Most, if not all dog breeds are friendly - but did you know there are some breeds that are characarised as the most friendly ones? Here is a list of some of teh friendlist dog breeds out there!

Beagles – There’s a reason this breed is often described as “Happy-Go-Lucky” – Beagles are easy going, friendly a curious pups are make great family pets!

Bred as hunting dogs, Beagles are used to running in packs – which likely contributes to their friendly nature.

These are great family dogs and all-around loyal companions. Beagles are active and energetic, requiring regular exercise and lots of playtime.

Border Collie -  We couldn’t have a list of friendly dog breeds without including our old favourite the Border Collie! Border Collie’s are one of the friendliest breeds, especially with their family – they’re energetic, fun-loving and loyal. They’re also extremely smart and easy to train!

Because of their energy and boisterous character, Border Collies would fit in perfectly with an active family who enjoy long walks and family activities.

Border Collie’s love to socialise through exercise and are always happiest in the great outdoors. Their ability to tune into their owner means they are particularly good at dog sports like agility and flying disc, but they will happily engage in any kind of play as long as there is a human involved.

Boston Terrier - These little dogs are easy-going and love to be around people. In fact, being the recipient of cuddles is definitely high on their priority list. They enjoy making new friends and will always be up for a play session.

These dogs love to meet new people, are good with kids, and although they need regular exercise, they don’t necessarily need a yard or a ton of space – they’re great city dogs.

Boxer – You might not know this, but Boxers are known to be one of the silliest breeds and love fun, playing games and socialising. For families looking for a big dog who loves to play, look no further than the Boxer. These energetic hounds just love to be around their families and will always greet you with buckets of enthusiasm.

Despite their appearance and reputation for being good guard dogs (tough, scary etc.) Boxers are brilliant with children – they’re friendly, loyal and fun-loving as well as being great guard dogs too!

Bulldog – These are another breed that may look and have a reputation for being grumpy and aggressive. But they’re absolutely not! Bulldogs are known as one of the friendliest dog breeds, they’re easy-going, low-maintenance, and make steadfast companions.

Willing to go wherever you go, the Bulldog is happy to meet new friends! These dogs only need moderate exercise, which can be great if you don’t have a lot of space for activity.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – These sweet pups were bred to be gentle, loyal companions and are friendly to human and animal alike!

These friendly dogs love to be loved and are never happier than when they are snuggled up on the couch with their owner. Cavs are versatile family members. They’re great with kids, eager to please, and friendly with other animals as well as people.

Golden Retrievers – This breed is consistently one of, if not THE most popular breed in the US – and we’re not surprised! Golden Retrievers are loyal, easily trainable and loyal – making brilliant family pets!

Golden Retrievers are always eager to please and have a calm temperament, which means they will be happy to socialise with everyone – even with other pets!
